Noor — نور

Noor means light. It is the word for what a stone does when it is cut well, and for what a house becomes when it is built patiently, over three generations and three countries.

1970 — Mumbai

Our founder opened his first shop in Mumbai in 1970. A single counter, a loupe, and a reputation built one customer at a time.

1984 — Pakistan

The house moved to Pakistan to expand — new clients, new craftsmen, the same standard at the bench.

Today — Dubai

Dubai brought the widest audience of all: a city where the whole region passes through. We came here to grow, and to keep the people of this region connected to their roots — to the jewellery their mothers and grandmothers wore, made for the way they live now.

What we hold to

• Stones first. Nothing leaves the atelier that we would not set for our own family.
• Made by hand. Every piece is finished at the bench, not on a line.
• For life, not for a season. We build pieces that get handed down.
